Equispheres and Aconity3D present: Accelerating Metal Additive Manufacturing – the Importance of Powder / Printer Combination

Metal additive manufacturing (AM) provides many advantages to industry such as design freedom, improved supply chain logistics, flexible manufacturing and part consolidation. However, metal AM is a slow process often resulting in high costs for part production. These elevated costs make the technology uneconomical for many applications.
However, modern high precision and highly controllable powder-bed fusion printers combined with specialized powder specifically tailored for AM can significantly increase the speed of part production and dramatically reduce costs.
