Equispheres Inc. announces it has completed an initial close on its Series B financing totaling approximately C$20 million. The financing was led by global automotive leader, Martinrea International Inc., with participation from new institutional investors. The financing will remain open until June 30, 2024.
Equispheres Inc. and Aconity3D are once again breaking new ground in metal additive manufacturing, achieving build rates about 9x greater than industry norms for aluminum powder and laser powder bed fusion.
Using technologies from Equispheres Inc. and Xact Metal, a team from the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) has expanded its repertoire to include aluminum additive manufacturing, demonstrating that metal AM can be accessible to small- and medium-sized businesses, academia and research facilities.
Equispheres’ materials for additive manufacturing have been identified by the U.S. Army as a key enabler to fill critical manufacturing and sustainment capabilities for the Department of Defense.
