APWORKS and Equispheres are partnering to launch North American production of Scalmalloy®, a high-strength aluminum alloy for Additive Manufacturing. This first local supply chain will use domestic materials and Equispheres’ advanced powder technology. Scalmalloy’s strength, ductility, and corrosion resistance make it ideal for aerospace, defense, and motorsport. The collaboration aims to enhance supply chain resilience and accelerate AM adoption.
Equispheres and Fieldmade Bring Non-Explosive Aluminum Additive Manufacturing to the Field

Equispheres and Fieldmade have introduced the first field-deployable solution for aluminum 3D printing using LPBF technology. By combining Fieldmade’s mobile NOMAD®03 system with Equispheres non-explosive NExP-1 aluminum powder, critical parts can now be produced safely and quickly in remote locations. The system will be available Summer 2025.
